Because of the recent outbreak of COVID - 19 cases in many different areas and in order to prevent the spread of epidemic, ensure the cyclists, staffs and citizens' health and safety, by the OC prudent decision research, the 2021 Colourful Yunnan International Granfondo Cycling Festivalhas been officially terminated.

We will send the materials and gifts of the year 2021 to the participants by mail. The specific procedures for applying for materials and gifts, the rules of refund will be announced in the following weeks . Please pay attention to the announcement of the official wechat account.

2021七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节在开赛前因疫情影响延期。2022年2月25日，赛事官方宣布，在已经完成各项筹备工作的情况下，2022年3月28日至4月2日将重启举办第八届七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节，赛事名称仍将沿用“2021七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节”。这也是格兰芬多进入中国以来，首次选择在3月拉开大幕。今天10点，格兰芬多国际自行车节赛事官方也重启了报名通道。

Competition Regulations

• 1.  格兰芬多自行车赛是一项通过电子芯片计时为非专业和休闲自行车爱好者提供的个人骑行挑战赛事。这是一项向所有人开放的，旨在推动业余、非专业的骑行运动的赛事。也就是说，职业的骑行选手，或在本项赛事开赛一年内退役的职业自行车运动员，只可以参加格兰芬多“非竞赛单元”的比赛，也就是说，他们的成绩不会列入最终成绩排名，也不会获得任何奖项。这些运动员在骑行中应限制自身采用防守型的骑行，不应影响比赛的结果。

   

  2. 对于“职业骑行选手”的定义：由于格兰芬多赛事设立了奖金，因此现役职业选手不应参加本比赛。任何在UCI世界巡回骑行赛、职业洲际比赛、精英山地车队、UCI山地车队的官方名册上的选手都被视为职业骑行选手。车队名单和选手名单都可在UCI网站和国际自行车联盟官网上查询。这一点是强制性的要求，是不可商议的。请注意，被上述车队聘为客串车手出战的顶尖业余车手不被视作专业运动员，可以参加本项赛事。

   

  3.  选手需要保证自身的自行车、骑行服和其他必备装备适于参加本赛事。2021年七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节仅允许公路车参赛。

   

  4.  任何选手参与比赛必须佩带骑行头盔。无头盔，不得参赛！

   

  5.  考虑到安全性，铁人三项休息把均不允许在比赛中使用。

   

  6.  带碟刹的公路车允许参赛。

   

  7.  比赛中只能使用自然的腿部肌肉的力量。自行车禁止使用任何电子的、充电的或其他机械辅助装置。作弊的选手将被终身禁止参加全部诺迪维赛事。赛前，组委会有权利检查各参赛车辆是否符合规定。另外，车撑和车锁等应在比赛前从车上卸下。

   

  8.  违规使用禁用的增强型药物（以世界反兴奋剂组织规则为准）的选手将被取消比赛资格并禁止参加诺迪维赛事。

   

  9.  关门时间：出于交通压力的考虑，组委会对长距离组选手设置最低均速要求及时间要求。请注意：我们会在比赛中设置检查点，如果您在规定时间内未能到达规定的检查点，那么将会被强制上收容车。

   

  10.出于安全考虑，只有官方赛事用车和媒体车允许在赛道上行驶，其他车辆禁止进入赛道，更不允许家属车跟随在选手后面。

   

  11.每位参赛选手应充分考虑长距离骑行中能量和饮用水补给，建议携带至少1500毫升的饮用水或者功能饮料。

   

  12.参赛选手必须遵守所有来自赛事总监、赛事总监助理和赛段中的官方志愿者的指引。

   

  13.公平竞争是比赛的基础。参赛选手对其他选手做出的违规行为将受到处罚，产生恶劣影响的将被取消参赛资格。

   

  14.格兰芬多赛事期间，当地政府会进行封路，但为避免意外，出于选手自身安全考虑，请遵守交通规则，保持右侧通行，在红绿灯路口按照工作人员指示通行。

   

  15.参赛选手必须依照组委会确定的线路进行比赛。请注意，由于比赛日可能存在的紧急路线设置的问题，比赛赛道与GPS地图往往会有偏差。

   

  16.组委会将在赛道中随机设置带有电子计时设备的检查点，选手们需通过全部检查点，否则将会被取消当日成绩。偏离赛道可能导致的任何风险和责任，选手须自行承担。

   

  17.每一站比赛均设置不同的出发区。选手应在指定的区域发车，未在指定区域发车的选手将受到15分钟的时间惩罚。

   

  18.在遇到有可能导致赛事、选手人身安全受到危害的不可抗力等因素时，诺迪维或者当地组委会有权缩短比赛距离或者取消比赛。

   

  19.每位参赛者必须通读赛事官网上公布的赛事规则。比赛出发即意味着选手已知晓并接受赛事规则。

• 2021特别注意事项：

   

  1.  云南省许多地方海拔较高，日照强烈，请大家特别注意高原反应和防止晒伤，如出现呼吸困难和头痛等不舒服的症状，请不要逞强坚持，健康安全永远放在第一位。

   

  2. 组委会将对所有完成规定比赛线路的男/女选手的有效成绩进行总的成绩排名。 组委会通过对出发时间、芯片过终点线时间和对通过检查点核实后给出参赛选手完整有效的成绩。

   

  3.  此外，除了对全部男女选手总成绩的排名外，本次赛事还有年龄组的分组排名，即40岁以上组和50岁以上组男女成绩的排名。

   

  4.  本次赛事设有团队组别，每支队伍5名选手，不限性别，首站开枪出发后到最后一站比赛结束，期间不可随意变更团队成员。每支团队的总成绩由本团队完成比赛的最快的三名队员的有效成绩相加得出。

   

  5.  组委会安排的颁奖仪式非常重要，请所有获奖运动员必须出席，如遇特殊情况，请提前安排代理人上台领奖。不参加颁奖仪式，视为放弃赛事奖品。

   

  6.  2021年的赛事新增“爬坡王”组别。即每站比赛的线路中都将选取一段爬坡路段，作为“爬坡王”的竞赛单元。每名选手从“爬坡王”段的起点到终点的芯片计时将作为该选手该站“爬坡王”段的成绩。每个单站“爬坡王”用时最短的前十名选手将会依次获得相应的有效积分（第一名至第十名的积分）：15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1，每个单站“爬坡王”组别用时最快的男子选手和女子选手将参加颁奖仪式上台领奖，并获得一件“爬坡王”荣誉骑行衫。所有参加并完成4个赛站“爬坡王”段，并取得有效积分的选手将排名，总积分前6名的男子选手和前3名的女子选手将参加总成绩颁奖仪式，并获得相应的奖励。

   

  7.  按照组委会的规定，比赛的车牌必须放置于车把前端，如不按规定放置，总成绩将会被罚15分钟的计时追加。

   

  8.  组委会在赛道上设有通过检查点，没有及时到达或没有通过的选手将没有比赛成绩。

   

  9.组委会在赛道上设有饮水站，部分饮水站同时也是关门点，所有选手必须在关门时间前通过相应的关门点，被关门的选手不能再继续比赛，等待收容车收容。关门点和关门时间将于赛前通过微信公众号、网站、信息公告板等方式公布。

   

  10.为了公平的比赛，在任何情况下，男女选手之间不能相互助力相互推坡，一旦被发现或被举报（谁举报谁举证原则）组委会仲裁组将对犯规1次的行为处以至少1小时的计时追加，对犯规1次以上的选手将直接取消比赛资格和比赛成绩。

   

  11.所有参赛选手必须配合当地疫情防控部门和赛事组委会关于疫情防控的要求，详情请查看电子赛事手册里相关内容。

• General Granfondo China Regulations

   

   

  1.  Granfondo-style cycling is a personal cycling challenge with timing via electronic chip for non-professional and recreational cyclists. The event is open to everyone but promotes amateur, or non-professional, cycling.This means that professional cyclists,  or former professionals who have retired from pro cycling less than one year before the date of a granfondo event, can only ride the granfondo 'out of competition', i.e. they will not feature in the result list nor receive any prizes. These cyclists are also expected not to influence the outcome of the competition and restrict themselves to defensive riding

  
  

  2.  Definition of a ‘professional cyclist’: People who are currently professional cyclists will not be part of the race competition, should there be prizes in a granfondo event. A professional cyclist is a person whose name features on the latest official team list of a UCI licensed World Tour, Pro Continental or Continental Team, or an ELITE MTB team or UCI MTB team. The team rosters and names of riders are available on the website of the UCI, the International Cycling Federation. There can therefore be no discussion. Note that top amateur riders who are hired as occasional guest riders for any of the afore mentioned team categories are not considered professionals and can therefore compete in granfondo event. 

  
  

  3.  Participants are personally responsible to ensure their bicycle,gear and other equipment are fit for the task. Only road race bike are allowed to participate 2021 Granfondo.

  
  

  4.  Wearing a helmet is mandatory for each participant. No helmet, nostart!

  
  

  5.  Triathlon handle bars are NOT allowed for safety reasons, except in the case of an individual time trial and only when the local event regulations permit the use of this equipment. 

  
  

  6.  In line with developments in the road cycling industry, disc brakesare as of now allowed

  
  

  7.  Only natural leg muscle power is allowed. Any kind of electronic,battery-charged or other mechanical aids on any part of the bicycle isforbidden. People caught cheating against this rule may be banned for life from Nordic Ways events. The Organisation Committee (OC) reserves the right to check bikes before the start. Footpeg, locks, etc. shall all be removed before thestart of the event.

  
  

  8.  In addition to ‘mechanical doping’, any rider caught possessing or taking drugs banned by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) will be disqualified from the event and potentially banned for life from Nordic Ways events. If you must take a banned product for medical reasons, please let the race director know in advance of the event providing a TUE or other proof that clearly states you must use the product during the event on medical grounds. 

  
  

  9.  There will be a minimum speed requirement and thus time limits for the long and short distance courses. Please be aware because we must stop you at designated checkpoints if you are slower than the announced time limit for the day. If you refuse to stop, you will be entirely self-responsible and you might run into difficulties with local authorities, who are setting clear regulations for our event.

  
  

  10.  Except official event and media cars, no cars are allowed to follow the participants during the granfondo for security reasons.

  
  

  11.  Hydration: Each participant must carry with him at least 1 500ml bottle of water or energy drink

  
  

  12.  Participants must obey all orders and indications of the race director and/or his assistant, and any official volunteers along the race courses.

  
  

  13.  Fair play is the order of the day: riders who are seen conducting unsporting behaviour towards others will get a time penalty and/or will be disqualified from the event by the OC. This includes pushing or pulling slower people uphill. Pushing or pulling will be penalised by minimum 1 hour perinfringement for both riders in question.

  
  

  14.  Even though the granfondo course is expected to be kept traffic free by local authorities, expect the unexpected, watch out for any potential cattleand follow standard traffic regulations by keeping to the right side of the road and stopping for red traffic lights.

  
  

  15.  Participants must follow the course as marked by the Organising Committee (OC). Course marking always over rules GPS maps as on any day,emergency route modifications may occur. 

  
  

  16.  Intermediate check points with electronic time measurements are put at random places along the course and must be passed by each rider. No passage at a checkpoint or any other kind of shortcutting will result indisqualification from the day's competition. Note that participants going off the official course will be self-responsible for any risk or injury occurring during this time.

  
  

  17.  Every granfondo stage will have separate starting blocks that must be adhered to. Participants who start in the wrong block will receive a time penalty of fifteen (15) minutes. The start block order is decided per Granfondo China event specifically

  
  

  18.  Nordic Ways and/or the local organization committee is authorized to shorten race distances or cancel the event due to unforeseen or exceptional circumstances that jeopardize the security of the event or its participants.

  
  

  19.  Each participant must read through the full specific event regulations and guidelines. By starting a race, the participant acknowledges and accepts the event regulations.

• Yunnan - specific regulations 2021

  
  

  
  

  1. Altitude sickness and sunburn. In Yunnan riders climb to very highaltitudes - especially in Lijiang (+3000m). People should take protectthemselves from sunburn, as well as refrain from heroism should any respiratorydifficulties or headaches occur.

  
  

  2. In Yunnan, there willbe an overall race classification for men and women based on the time eachrider took to complete the official race course. The classification will bebased on race time (gun time at start, chip time when crossing the finish line)

  
  

  3. In addition to the general classification, there will also be age grouprankings and ceremonies for the long distance riders in the +40 ,and +50  groups.

  
  

  4. There will also be a team classification. Teams must consist of minimumfive riders, regardless of gender, and cannot be changed after the start of thefirst race. In order to obtain a ranking in the general teamclassification, minimum 3 riders of the team must reach the finish within thetime limit of the race. The finish times of the three fastest riders of eachteam are added up to produce the team's finishing time.

   

  5. The best riders in the overall and age group rankings will be invited to apodium ceremony. Please follow the instructions given on race day.

  
  

  6. New in 2021:  KOM or King of the Mountain classification. 

  Each stage will feature one timed climb, where each participant's chip time will be registeredat the foot and at the top of the climb. The rider who scores of the fastest time (male and female) on each of these uphill segments will receive a special KOM jersey and will also be invited to the podium ceremony after each stage. 

  The first 6 on each of the 4 KOM climbs will get points. 

  The KOM overall will be based on points and not on time. 

   

  7. The bike number plates must be placed in front of the handlebar accordingto instructions given. No front bike plate = time penalty of 15 minutes.

  
  

  8. There will be intermediate checkpoints along the course. All participantsare supposed to cross these checkpoints within the time limit set by the racedirector. Someone who does not gets registered at a checkpoint will bedisqualified from the race result.

  
  

  9. As always, there will be a minimum speed requirement and cut-off timesimposed at drinking stations. If someone fails to arrive at such a stationwithin the allocated time, he/she will be required to stop cycling and enterthe DNF bus Provisional cut-off times for each stage: these will beannounced when the race courses are 100% confirmed. check the latest info onWeChat Channel and Info Board at event hotel on Saturday before the race) 

   

  10.  Fair Play: Male participants are not allowed to push or pull femaleparticipants under any circumstance. Both male and female participants will be penalized by minimum 1 hourfor the first infringement and disqualified by the race jury from the raceresult should there be more than 1 infringement against this rule.

  5. 闭环管理：所有全程参赛选手应积极配合组委会制定的闭环管理要求，包括并不限于：全程入住组委会指定宾馆；转场乘坐组委会统一安排的转场车辆；应在下榻宾馆就餐;

  6. 海外及港澳台选手在中国大陆入境（28天）以上。

  • Hotel stay for 8 nights: check-in from March 26th 12:00am ;check out before April 3th 12:00am.
  • Transportation service during event ( each participant can bring 1 bike only)

  CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

  1. Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been completed.

  2. Report of NAT nucleic acid test within 48hours upon check-in (negative).

  3. From low-risk areas, you  need to show your health code and trip code when you sign in (both green). All participants need to sign in before 12am on March 27th. 

  4. NAT policy upon check-in and during therace: Participants need to receive NAT arranged by the OC when signing in, before the transfer form Chuxiong to Dali, and before the transfer form Dali to Lijiang (participants do not need to pay);

  5. Closed-loop management: All participants should actively comply with the closed-loop management requirements formulated by the organizing committee, including but not limited to: stay in the hotel arranged by the organizing committee; Transfer by transfer vehicle arranged by theorganizing Committee; Eat at your hotel;

  6. Having been in China mainland for more than 28 days .

  7.Health reporting for 14 days: From March 12th to 25th, Participants will need to submit daily health report to the OC.Report body temperature information through the 'Daily Health Report' mini program in the 2021 Granfondo Yunnan Online Event Manual . Participants who have not completed the health reporting for 14 days on the time will be rejected for registration.

  2. 因伤退赛的选手可凭本人医疗诊断证明及对应的医院门诊收费收据，于2022年3月24日24:00前通过《电子赛事手册》的“退赛申请”功能模块提交退赛申请，报名费不予退还，可以用于抵扣以后年度七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节的报名费。2022年3月25日及以后，组委会概不接受任何因伤退赛保留参赛费申请。

  
  

  3. 因疫情原因，选手健康码&行程码不合规、密接隔离等不可控因素导致无法出行，选手可凭本人健康码、行程码、隔离通知书等证明材料，于2022年3月25日24:00前通过《电子赛事手册》的“退赛申请”功能模块提交退赛申请，报名费不予退还，可以用于抵扣以后年度七彩云南格兰芬多国际自行车节的报名费。2022年3月26日及以后，组委会概不接受任何因疫情退赛保留参赛费申请。

  
  

  4.参赛名额为选手个人所有，组委会概不接受任何名额转让申请。签到时，选手应出示本人身份证或其他有效证件原件。

  
  

  5. 特别条款：如因不可抗力（如疫情）发生赛事取消，组委会将全额退还选手已缴纳费用至选手的原始付款账户；如因不可抗力（如疫情）发生赛事熔断，组委会将概不接受任何退费申请。

• Cancellation& Refund Policy

  1. The OC will not accept any refund request for any reason.
  2. Cancellation for medical reasons: Participants must provide the copy or photo of the diagnoses certificate and receipt for hospitalization as the proof for cancellation application. Above documentsshould be submit via ONLINE EVENT MANUAL. The registration fee will not be refunded but it can be seen as the deposit for the next Granfondo event registration. Deadline of cancellation request for medical reasons is 11:59pm, 24^th March 2022. The OC will not accept any cancellation request for medical reasons on and after 25^thMarch 2022.

  
  

  3. Cancellation for epidemic control policy reasons: Participants must provide the copy or photo of the health code/tripcode/quarantine certificate as the proof for cancellation application. Above documents should be submit via ONLINE EVENT MANUAL. The registration fee will not be refunded but it can be seen as the deposit for the next Granfondo event registration.  Deadline of cancellation request for epidemic control policy reasons is 11:59pm, 25^thMarch 2022. The OC will not accept any cancellation request for epidemic control policy reasons on and after 26^th March 2022.

  
  

  4. Registration is personal and cannot be transferred to any other person.
